Dr. Angelica Lopez is a Puerto Rico-born and raised chiropractor with a deep passion for supporting families through every stage of pregnancy and childhood. She earned her Bachelor’s degree from the University of Puerto Rico before pursuing her Doctor of Chiropractic at Sherman College of Chiropractic in South Carolina.

Dedicated to advancing her expertise in perinatal and pediatric care, Dr. Lopez completed extensive additional training through the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association (ICPA), and holds certifications in Webster Technique, craniosacral therapy, and cranial-facial release — specialized, gentle techniques designed specifically for expecting mothers, babies, and children.

Her commitment to service has also taken her on chiropractic mission trips, bringing care to communities with limited access to healthcare. Dr. Lopez’s passion for perinatal care is deeply personal. As a mother herself, she understands firsthand the profound journey of pregnancy — including its heartbreaks. Having experienced two pregnancy losses, including twins at 20 weeks, she brings not only clinical expertise but genuine empathy to every family she cares for.

Her own breastfeeding journey with her child — navigating the challenges of an undiagnosed tongue and lip tie — opened her eyes to how much families struggle without the right support. That experience inspired her to pursue further education to become an IBCLC (International Board Certified Lactation Consultant), so she could help other mothers avoid the same struggles and find the support she wished she’d had sooner.

This personal journey fuels her mission: to walk alongside other families with compassion, honesty, and unwavering support, whatever their path looks like.
